Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

We depart at 8:30 a.m. from Marrakech towards Ouarzazate. The way to the Tizi N’Tichka pass (2260m) is a winding mountain road with magnificent views of the valleys. In winter the mountains are covered with snow. On the other side of the pass we visit the Kasbah of Glaoui in Télouet, followed by the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah in the Ounila valley. This famous Kasbah is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been the setting for many films. In Ouarzazate, we visit the Kasbah Taourirt and pass by Lake El Mansour before reaching the Skoura palms. The first night is spent in the beautiful Dades Valley.

Day 2: Dades Valley – Merzouga

After breakfast, we depart for the Todra Gorges. After lunch in this wonderful valley, we continue to Erfoud which is renowned for its fossils. Next we continue to Merzouga through a road lined with fossils. Arriving in Merzouga, we exchange the 4×4 for camels and head out into the dunes to your camp. You spend the night under the stars after a traditional dinner around the campfire.

Day 3: Merzouga– Nkob – Marrakech

In the morning, camels take you back to the 4X4. We pass through the Ziz valley to Rissani After lunch in Alnif we continue towards Tazzarine which is known for its Henna. We pass through the charming N’Kob with 45 Kasbah. Next is the stunning Draa Valley lined with palm trees, mountains and villages in the land dominated by Kasbah. We take the road through Ouarzazate again before crossing the Atlas to arrive Marrakech in the evening.
