Day1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Zagora

Early departure from your hotel Marrakech or your Riad. Head south through the mountains of the High Atlas, standing like a wall dividing the south of the north and the west of Morocco. Day2: Zagora – Tamegroute – Mhamid – Erg Chegaga

After breakfast we will visit the village of Tamegroute known for its oldest library in Morocco and previously served as a favorite place to receive the Koranic and Islamic teachings. Tamegroute is also known for its unique pottery. Drive to Mhamid which marks the final village before arriving at one of the main gateways of the Great Sahara. Saddle your camel and spend the night under the stars in the desert camp.

Day 3: Mhamid – Foum Zguid – Tazenakht – Marrakech

Wake up early to witness the miraculous view of the sunrise over the sand dunes of Erg Chigaga. After breakfast we will cross the dried Iriki lake, Foum Zguide Village, then Tazenakht known for its unique carpets that are skillfully manufactured locally by women. We will resume our journey to Marrakech through the mountains of the High Atlas, which we will arrive in the evening.
