Day 1: Fez – Ifran – Azrou – Midlet – Arfoud – Merzouga

Travel Fes to Merzouga 2 Days / 1 Night In the morning around 7am you will start traveling south-east to Merzouga via Azrou and Errachidia. Your first stop will be in Ifran, then in Merzouga via Midlet and the valley of Ziz. During this trip you will meet glimpses of the Middle Atlas and the Upper Atlas Mountains. Stopping at the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco – where you can see the barbarian monkeys. You will notice how the landscape changes to reveal the clues of the desert when you approach the town of Er Rachidia. After lunch, your journey continues along the lush Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way. We will cross the welcoming Berber villages in Rissani, the foundation of the Alawite dynasty – the current royal family in Morocco. Upon arrival in Merzouga at the end of the day, you will be greeted with a glass of mint tea before checking in to your riad. After spending a few minutes in Merzouga, we go to the camels waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes, we go to high dunes to see the sunset, We spend the night in a camp, in nomad tents.

Day 2: Merzouga – Errachidia – Valley of Ziz – Fez

Travel Fes to Merzouga 2 days / 1 night Early morning, your camel guide will wake you up to watch what can be the best lift of your life. Afterwards, you will return to the village of Merzouga, en route, you can not fail to appreciate the unique beauty of the spectacular sand dunes of Erg Chebbi – changing with the light as the day progresses. After breakfast in your riad, you will leave for Fes via Errachidia and Ziz Valley ending in Fez.
